We regularly receive inquiries from community organizations and initiatives asking if we can help them with physical items. Desks, cabinets, chairs, etc. Your company may no longer use them, but someone else could certainly use them.
What you might consider trash or outdated can make someone else very happy. For example, old laptops go to children who need them for school, waste pallets (wood) are very welcome for woodworking training, old desks and chairs can be used to furnish offices, and so on.
