At the Franciscustafel, we welcome around 120 homeless Amsterdammers, seniors, and others living in poverty twice a week. They receive a hot meal, but also dignity and a place where friendship is paramount.
With the coming winter in mind, we want to make sure no one has to stay out in the cold. That's why we're already collecting warm socks, underwear, thermal underwear, shoes, and sleeping bags . It's obvious to us, but for someone on the street or someone who can't even bring themselves to turn on the heat at home, this can make all the difference.
You can help! With a financial contribution or a donation of goods, you ensure we're ready to respond as soon as the cold weather arrives. Together, we can contribute to an Amsterdam that remains humane, warm, and livable.
