Summary
We are looking for a motivated developer to build the platform for "Run 4 A Kid", a new initiative by Make A Kid Happy.Detailed description
This platform will host running events where people can create their own profiles, participate in runs, and raise funds for children around the world.
Tasks include:
- Developing a user-friendly platform where individuals can register, create personal fundraising profiles, and track their progress
- Building event pages where we can host different runs and campaigns
- Integrating a secure and transparent donation system connected to each runner’s profile
- Setting up an admin dashboard for managing participants, donations, and events
- Ensuring mobile responsiveness and easy sharing options for participants
- Implementing badges, achievements, or milestones to keep runners motivated
Skills needed:
- Experience in web development (platforms, not just basic websites)
- Knowledge of user accounts, payment integrations, and dashboard systems
- Experience with WordPress (advanced) or custom platforms (Laravel, Django, etc.)
- Interest in fitness, charity runs, or fundraising platforms is a bonus
