Summary
Cook a meal for the street clean-up team existing out of homeless and undocumented people and/or join them with cleaning the street!Detailed description
The Koffiehuis and the Clothing Shop on the Haarlemmerstraat offers a safe place to homeless or undocumented visitors who often cannot go elsewhere in the city.
Every day, 30 people work from the Koffiehuis to keep the streets in the centre clean and green. They drink a cup of coffee in the Koffiehuis around 9.30 am and then go to work. 4 of the volunteers will choose a recipe, do the shopping and prepare a hot lunch. The street cleaning team return from work between 12.30 and 1.30 pm ready to be served the lunch volunteers have prepared. Finally, everything is cleaned up and cleaned.
As only 4 volunteers fit in the kitchen, remaining volunteers will join with the street-cleaning-team.
