We at Voedsel Cirkel Amsterdam (VCA) are a growing and innovative initiative that is committed to an important social issue: combating food waste and reducing food insecurity in Amsterdam. As a logistical "common" we focus on effective food relief and the smart repurposing of food surpluses. Our work is increasingly recognized for our impact and innovative approach.

In order to further realize our mission and support our growth, we are continuously looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers who want to use their talents and time. We believe that the involvement of the business community can play a crucial role in this.

Where can your team make a difference at Voedsel Cirkel Amsterdam?

We offer various volunteer roles that match different interests and expertise:

• Logistics & Operations: Help collect food from our partners, process and pack food in our warehouse, and distribute it to the people who need it with our truck and electric cargo bikes. This is an active and concrete way to directly contribute to our food relief activities.
• Fundraising: Support us in developing and executing fundraising strategies to increase our impact and sustain our growth. This includes writing applications, organizing campaigns and maintaining contacts with potential donors.
• Marketing & Communication: Contribute to increasing our brand awareness and communicating our story and impact. Help us with content creation, social media management , press contacts and the development of marketing materials .
• Finance & Administration: Support our team with financial administration , accounting and setting up efficient processes to keep our organization healthy and transparent.
• Data & Analytics: Help us measure our impact and optimize our processes through data collection , analysis and generation of valuable insights.
