The Meevaart is a vibrant community center in Amsterdam’s Indische Buurt, where neighbours come together every day. Our courtyard is an important meeting spot, but our current outdoor furniture is worn out and in need of replacement. We’re looking for sturdy, comfortable garden furniture (like (picknick-)tables, chairs, benches) so people can enjoy spending time outside. Will you help us make our garden a more inviting place for the whole community?
About De Meevaart
De Meevaart is the living room of the Indische Buurt in Amsterdam, where residents with different backgrounds and interests find their place. De Meevaart offers space for all kinds of activities and residents' initiatives. In addition, there are learning places for MBO students. With the help of around 60 committed volunteers, De Meevaart remains a place where everyone feels welcome.
