For our open walk-in and appointment consultation hours of the Amsterdam West Neighborhood Team, we are looking for volunteers who want to help Amsterdam residents with their questions.
Detailed description
We are looking for volunteers who are available at least 1 half day per week for a longer period. But a variant is also possible, where a volunteer is only available 1x per week for 4 weeks, but can pass the baton to the next volunteer so that continuity is guaranteed.
Buurtteam West supports Amsterdammers with questions for help in the field of Welfare and Care: As light as possible. To this end, we organize consultation hours at our Buurtteam locations in Amsterdam West. Questions that are usually simple in nature for a volunteer with HBO level of thinking, digital skills and mastery of the Dutch language. From help to, if possible, self-reliance or joint reliance. That is the goal. You help an Amsterdammer on their way and in doing so you are of significance and socially involved
