Automated decision-making


The City of Amsterdam’s department of Economic Affairs takes decisions based on automated processing about issues that may affect individuals. The City of Amsterdam’s department of Economic Affairs uses the Deedmob system to match your profile with the requirements or conditions of civil society organisations and activities. If the profile details you share correspond with the requirements or conditions of a specific vacancy, then the Deedmob system can automatically alert you of this vacancy.


There are no consequences if you ignore or delete this email.


How long we keep personal data


The City of Amsterdam’s department of Economic Affairs does not store your personal data for longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. We use the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:

This usually concerns websites of organisations offering volunteer opportunities, but it can also be a website of, for example, the company for whom you work. If you log on to a website managed by Deedmob, we will share your account and profile information with this other organisation from the first time you log on to this other website.


A social organisation that publishes vacancies for volunteering opportunities on a website managed by Deedmob can view your profile if you are a member of this organisation or follow it, and may email you with the request to work with this organisation on a particular project.


When you use your Facebook account to log in, Facebook processes your login details and possible other information. This is not the responsibility of the City of Amsterdam’s department of Economic Affairs. We advise you to consult Facebook for more information about using your Facebook account to log in to third parties.
