About Markant, centrum voor mantelzorg

Our organisation helps people who need care, as wel as their careres. Unpaid carers (relatives, neighbours, of friends) often provice care 7 days a week. To keep this up they need to be able to take a break from their tasks now and then, and have some time to themselves to recharge. Our volunteers take care of the elderly people or child that is chronically ill or has special needs. Our volunteers also can helping young mothers with mild intellectual disabilities. There are many options for our volunteers. We also run a short-stay for people, so there carers can go on vacation.
